Running latest git (wine-0.9.60-600-g10e676a), I have installed the game using this method. Receive the pop-up mentioned, but the game starts fine. If the reporter does not come forward and say this still exists, this bug should probably be marked as closed.
Ok, running wine 1.0 rc5 and I no longer see the pop-up and the game runs fine.
