Hello folks,

revisiting.
The bug is now blocked by bug 35023

With 'gdiplus' override the GUI looks pretty usable.
Menu bars, toolbars, floating tool windows are located at right place, no
visible distortion.

If bug 35023 gets fixed this one might be solved as well.
