I do this copy:

cp /usr/lib/wine/x86_64-windows/dcomp.dll "$WINEPREFIX/drive_c/Program Files
(x86)/Electronic Arts/Dark Age of Camelot/igd10umd32.dll"

And rerun: wine camelot.exe and it work.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with locales.
