[Bug 23978] keyboard seems to be dead after changing to another field with TAB-key

There is a more accurate description of the bug with a more accurate title (the
TAB key is irrelevant) in Bug 33452. It would have made more sense to mark this
bug as a duplicate of that one, but I can't fix that or change the title here.
The issue still hasn't been fixed.
