With wine 5.21 (apparently 5.14 is buggy installing dotnet)
new 32-bit prefix (may not matter)
winetricks -q dotnet20 dotnet40
download and install EAC - https://www.fosshub.com/Exact-Audio-Copy.html
when run I get a crash dialog for cdrdao, close that
on first run EAC has a setup wizard, you can cancel that
to verify go to EAC menu -> EAC Options -> Audio Plugins tab which comes up
blank

(downgrading to 5.13 there are two entries there, AcoustID and CUETools DB)
