[Bug 26706] SolidWorks: Some tools cannot be activated

I increased ulimit -n to 8096 (by editing /etc/security/limits.conf and
restarting system)
ulimit -Hn now indeed shows the increased value.

Running 
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d9=""" wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\
Files/SolidWorks/SLDWORKS.exe
still does not work (see attachment)
