https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42668 Screwtape <thristian(a)gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |thristian(a)gmail.com --- Comment #6 from Screwtape <thristian(a)gmail.com> --- According to https://www.winehq.org/announce/8.2, Wine now includes support for Indeo 5. Debian just packaged Wine 8.3, so I figured I'd try it out. It turns out that the "impact" animation (impact_finish.avi) when the book lands in the introduction does *not* use the Indeo codec. ffprobe calls it "msvideo1 (CRAM / 0x4D415243)". That video plays fine. However, when you click on the book to open it, it's supposed to display an animation of approaching Myst Island (MystIsland_Indeo.avi). Instead, there's just a blank white panel. There's no interesting or relevant debug output from Wine. ffprobe calls this file "indeo5 (IV50 / 0x30355649)". -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
