(self-compiled without patches) Details: Geforce 8600 GT (6600 GT also) driver is NVIDIA-Linux-x86-185.18.31-pkg1.run DX-lvl in hl2 is: 9.0 Game slows down extremly (0~1 FPS) when Alex shows the incoming forces on a screen, like said in first comment. After one minute the game is playable again.
