[Bug 30020] Tribes Ascend does not connect to the authentication service

The hack/fix attached to Bug 31673
fixes the connection issue with the service! The launcher can connect and
download the game, but fails at decompressing files later on. I didn't notice
any errors in the log though, so I would'n know what log to attach, let me know
and I can rerun and attach the log
