On wine 1.3.23:

Wine is still much slower than windows on higher graphics settings, on my
system 'extreme' graphics easily dips to 10-12FPS, whereas it is near 60 in
windows, nvidia binary driver.

pbuffer is slightly faster than FBO, 5-10FPS or so on medium, and ARB shaders
are faster than GLSL.
