Tried with a clean install on an empty .wine Now it works... Wine 0.9.44 So, close this bug. But please, if anyone has an idea, help me resolve what I've done wrong. Used Wine-doors to install crucial stuff, but I've installed Acrobat since that time, and had it work. Other wine apps work fine, like InDesign 2.0.
