I tried the hack from that bug to force shader model 4 and it works around the
access violation, though the GUI is black now, but that`s probably because it`s
a hack. I guess this is really a dupe of thyat bug; if someone with could try
it with a more decent GPU i guess we could resolve this as a duplicate
