The application is calling mixerOpen() for an output device and then requesting details for MIXERLINE_COMPONENTTYPE_DST_WAVEIN. That returns an error code, which the application ignores and passes an invalid struct to mixerGetLineInfoW, which also returns an error and then the application crashes, probably expecting a valid struct to be returned. It also crashes in exactly the same way on my Windows 7 VM. However, when I set it to Windows 98 compatibility mode, it seems to work fine.
