Onlive try's to connect to ds.onlive.net. When running in wine dns resolve ds.onlive.net gives several ip's back (so domain relsolving works) but it seems like the onlive client cant connect to any of these addresses. Trying to ping them from terminal gives 100% packet loss. Interresting is that account information validation works. When you run onlive from windows xp (vbox) everything seems to run expect an "no directX is installed"-error (an vbox problem at all). In the file [c-drive]/programs/onlive/ol_account.cfg you also can find the entry "ds.onlive.net". My question here is: Is it possible that onlive can detect clients running in wine and is blocking them? My network/wine/linux/english "skills" aren’t really good but i hope it helped. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
