According to msdn

Syntax

HRESULT CreateApplicationContext (
    [in]  IAssemblyName  *pName,
    [out] LPPAPPLICATIONCONTEXT  *ppCtx
 );

Parameters

pName

    [in] A pointer to a friendly name.
ppCtx

    [out] A pointer to an application context.

still valid against 1.9.7-git.
