Unpack the zip and you get the msi. It does have to be 2.4, not 2.7 as I believe 2.7 uses a hardware key and isn't free. Install the 2.4 msi... Then run up the exe file. It should prompt for some user details and email address, then emails a simple reg key to continue... That all works for me fine, but beyond that it falls over as soon as I begin creating a new course. It works fine on same pc using virtual box and a very minimal xp image, so can discount some architecture aspects.
