Regrets, but No. I used the WineHQ package, and it installs Wine Stable flawlessly, except without Mono or Gecko. It would be better if Wine Stable were simply unavailable, which is the behavior I have experienced previously. If it would be helpful, I can provide a copy of the installation, which follows precisely the WineHQ directions in https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/wikis/Debian-Ubuntu, and loads the winehq-noble.sources.
