It is not, as suspected by me, a bug in the built-in C2VectParallel function. But there seems to exist an underlying compatibility issue with the native MS Visual C++ 2019 files and the corresponding built-in Visual C++ changes made in newer Wine 6.x releases. In concrete terms, when I have installed the native MS Visual C++ files in a Wine 6.7 prefix, the Cxbx-R Xbox "emulator" (or better Xbox compatibility layer) runs not fully stable and crashes. This is not the case when the built-in C++ files are used. Cxbx-R runs far more stable in this case.
