The solution can be found here http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=3795&iTestingId... under the title "workaround for newprofiles.mxl" it worked for me, and its a nice little startup script that is very convienient. But I believe your graphics settings will be set to default each time.
