For me, it seems to fix the crash. However, the game isn't playable on my laptop (only place I've been able to test) because I think it lacks the horse power (intel hd 3000 integrated doesn't seem to be enough ...). Like I said, it got rid of the crash for me, but I only tested by going directly do a battle and not through a campaign. I was able to replicate the crash this way.
