However there are a couple of more input issues, would be nice if someone with a Windows machine could test if these are game bugs or additional issues in the Wine input code. Assigning the up/down keys for example behaves very weird with this patch applied (selection in the controls configuration changes before assigning a new key), and assigning ENTER to a key doesn't work at all.
