Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I still don't see anything interesting in the logs. I notice most of the logs were gathered with Wine 1.4.1, which is pretty old. Can you try running with the latest release of Wine and get me two logs: One with winecfg's Test Sound, and the other with your PlaySound.exe? Then we'll be comparing apples to apples with the latest and greatest.
