[Bug 1188] Fonts drawn on client side are drawn at an angle

The problem I am having is NOT that the fonts are drawn in italic - but that
they are drawn at an angle other than 0 degrees.

More accurately - it is not that the font elements are rotated, but rather that
it looks like there is reverse stairstep - there is a small negative Y axis
offset from character to character, sort of

(although nowhere NEAR that bad!)
