[Bug 42041] Origin Setup and Origin Thin Setup installation fails immediately

I just tried the latest installers with wine-2.12, and I can't even get to the
installer window. A blank, blue "Origin" window briefly appears, then
disappears, then the program ends.

Why are there so many patches stagnating in wine-staging? It feels like the
maintainers have abandoned the project. I can't even tell you the version of
the Origin installers I'm using because the fix for Bug 40426 has been wasting
away in wine-staging for years.
