[Bug 25256] Source based games won't start

.. Question for anybody reading this.

Does Half-Life 2 work for anybody? Because it's the only source-based game
that's currently working for me, TF2, Portal, and everything else doesn't want
to launch, does it have to do with Wine messing up where the "gameinfo.txt"
file goes or messes up its properties or is there something currently wrong
with Steam?
