The fix is now upstream as 63bf2677ed22d26ff1f5ff1886fde08b1f5fb00c.

Also, I tested MDK2 on 10.9 and was able to reproduce the problem. I'm not sure
what's wrong, there were some OpenGL errors printed but I'm not sure if that's
the cause or just a symptom. I also tested on 10.10, and it worked correctly
there.
