[Bug 14394] tf2 crashes and locks at random

I have recently tested Cat 10.7 and Wine 1.2. Portal and TF2 still randomly
crash, graphics settings and resolution still have no effect on the bug,
however it seems to take longer now.

On the flip side, the new Steam client seems to be less pathological than
before.
