While Photoshop, et al are important, it's a lot of work to get working.
Maybe I am wrong, but to me it doesn't seem as it is. Moved installations have reached gold status and installations has been known to succeed.
It still isn't however, a lot of applications.
The installer is a pretty tough nut to crack. Adobe is known for using the Win32 API for lots of corner cases and other uncommon things, which means lots of other stuff works fine, but not their stuff. And fixing that stuff doesn't help many other (non-Adobe) programs. Rest assured, Adobe products _are_ a priority.
