https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56548 --- Comment #7 from Maximilian Hantsch <max(a)mail.at> --- Baseline check. I run this on Pop_OS! 22.04 (based on Ubuntu 22.04). I downgraded wine to devel 9.5. (base) max(a)max-framework:~$ apt list --installed | grep wine WARNING: apt does not have a stable CLI interface. Use with caution in scripts. wine-devel-amd64/jammy,now 9.5~jammy-1 amd64 [installed, upgradable to: 9.6~jammy-1] wine-devel-i386/jammy,now 9.5~jammy-1 i386 [installed, upgradable to: 9.6~jammy-1] wine-devel/jammy,now 9.5~jammy-1 amd64 [installed, upgradable to: 9.6~jammy-1] winehq-devel/jammy,now 9.5~jammy-1 amd64 [installed, upgradable to: 9.6~jammy-1] I then created a fresh empty wineprefix. (base) max(a)max-framework:~$ echo $WINEPREFIX /home/max/.local/share/wineprefixes/wine64 (base) max(a)max-framework:~$ echo $WINEARCH win64 and installed the latest reMarkable Desktop software: (base) max(a)max-framework:~$ wine Downloads/reMarkable-3.10.0.845-win64.exe This works; the app runs fine. Unfortunately I don't have time for a bisect in the next 2-3 weeks -- and I have never done it before, although I think I would be technically capable. For now I held the wine devel packages, at least I have a working setup now. (base) max(a)max-framework:~$ apt-mark showhold wine-devel wine-devel-amd64 wine-devel-i386:i386 winehq-devel -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
