[Bug 27779] Desktop mouse pointer always visible in Steam games

I try to reproduce the bug in non-Steam games. I run Steam in background and
then play non-Steam version of Stalker without the bug, but when i run
Half-life 2 from selfsame Steam the pointer remains and blinks at crosshair
place.
My Steam version is 1705.
