Their forums have some people talking about it happening to Windows users as well, so the problem might not be wine. They didn't seem to have a solid fix, although it might be related to refresh rate. When it is launched without the emulated desktop on, the above problem occurs. This behavior doesn't change by trying a separate X Session. When Air Rivals is launched within an emulated desktop, the resolutions DO show up as options, and are selectable. For me, personally, the emulated desktop has focus problems, and I cannot use my keyboard in it, so this is not a work around.
