Are you by chance running a 64-bit build of wine?
Yes, I had to build it that way, when I tried to build it regularly, it wouldn't finish ./configure
You probably don't want that. You should figure out why you can't build as 32-bit and fix that. Anywho, it's still a valid bug. I get a crash as well.
