The .NET installer error is likely a broken WINEPREFIX or old 'winetricks' script or broken host packages. You could try a recent 'winetricks' version from here: http://winetricks.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/winetricks Follow appdb entry for .NET Frameworks (new 32-bit WINEPREFIX, ...).
