I couldn't reproduce this problem here (wine-1.1.37+). What's your wine
version? Is it really wine-1.1.37?

Geforce 8800GTS
NVIDIA 190.53

Sure I could say that with previous wine versions (commit
ffb38da024b044b4958d21784b5cc290291883a9 fixed it), there I could see the bug
as in picture http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=25930 (with backbuffer
and pixelshader off).
