I managed to do it four times without 3DS Max crashing. However, when I wanted to change what type of view one of the viewport windows would display, I right clicked the viewport I wanted to adjust, and hovered over "Schematic" and it crashed. I restarted the program, and it came up with the error before the GUI could even initialize.
