Windows 7 mode breaks because WINE has not implemented all of the APIs that are in Windows 7 that Starcraft is trying to use. I just wrote a quick patch that disables NtGetTickCount and GetTickCount64 entirely. This fixes Windows XP mode for Starcraft, but it is not "proper" and I have no idea how it would affect other games.
