[Bug 34710] Can't register/login with Kindle for PC

I did, this was compiled from source and installed in /usr/local/wine-1.6 with
a symlink to /usr/local/wine. I always install wine into its own dir, just to
avoid clobbering a working version with a new, untested (by me) version :)

This is on a slackware based system, so it may be some issue with other libs.
But I don't know how to go about narrowing down the culprit.
