The only difference is that the error log shows "Version: 1.4.16.0" instead of the reported "Version 1.4.5.3". I'm assuming Magicka has been updated since the initial report. If I disable the alsa driver using winetricks I get a warning when the game starts stating that sound couldn't be initialized but if I press the Ignore button the game launches.
