What patch did you use for wine 1.5.29? the patch from comment 263 does not work for me. Apparently the whole mac stuff moved into that file, stopping the patch from applying.
I downloaded source from wine PPA sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa apt-get source wine1.5 Then I patched sudo patch -p1 < xx.patch patching file dlls/wined3d/buffer.c Hunk #1 succeeded at 166 with fuzz 2 (offset -2 lines). Hunk #2 succeeded at 656 (offset -7 lines).
