It must because eula problem is caused by lack of fonts. Altho i agree that this is partialy wine issue because even if you got corefonts installed in your system wine won't use them (you first have to symlink them into proper folder inside .wine)
I have these fonts in the $HOME/.wine/drive_c/windows/Fonts : Arial.TTF Arialbd.TTF Arialbi.TTF Ariali.TTF AriBlk.TTF Wine version 1.1.20 And eve work without issues, this isn't related with a wine' issue.....
