The Witcher gets in a loop of :

fixme:d3dx:ID3DXEffectImpl_GetParameter (0x21f3b8)->((nil), 0): stub
fixme:d3dx:ID3DXEffectImpl_GetParameterDesc (0x21f3b8)->((nil), 0x1c6f2e4):
stub

and is unable to load without d3dx9_36. winetricks d3dx9_36 works around.
