Hi Christian,

my idea was similar, i thought its probably the zero serial-number (returned by
the same function) that confuses the copy-protection. I didn't have time to
test this yet, and moreover I think the problem with crashing applications was
way more problematic. Does this other issue have a separate bug report now?
