Looks like this bug has been fixed, I can run sc2 now for serveral minutes without crash, tried it a few times. I guess we'll have to wait until the beta comes online again.
I still have this issue with Patch16. Not fixed, at least not for me. Disabling "Window Decoration" instead of crashing, the game hang forever at ~80% CPU on a single core. Using 1.2-r5. I'll test r6 asap.
