I can tell it is not related to video drivers.

After installing DirectX9 via

sh winetricks directx9

Shadows are drawn properly. Also, postprocessing works perfect (no more crash
at runtime).

AFAIK MS DirectX9 cannot interfere with Linux drivers, so it seems it's  a
Wine's DirectX bug.
