I will attach console output (which is IMHO not really useful). I tried several
debug channels to get useful output but did not succeed.

Maybe someone can give me a hint to get useful info - I was not able to find
where/how redrawing of windows is performed/controlled.

FrameMaker can be downloaded from www.adobe.com in a demo release (version 7.2.
is rather old).
