http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32859 --- Comment #17 from Anastasius Focht <focht(a)gmx.net> 2013-09-29 06:27:22 CDT --- Hello folks, if it still crashes for you with latest libX11-1.6.1 or .2 then another component has not been upgraded within distro release. AFAIK issues in multiple X11 components were exposed at the time of Wine's x11 lock removal/code rework. You could search all X11 component GIT repos for commits related to multithreading, races, mentioning of Wine etc. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/lib/libX11/log/ http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xcb/libxcb/log/ http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/xserver/log/?h=server-1.13-branch Newer distributions are known to not have this bug anymore. You could compare X11 package versions against your distro releases For example I know that for Fedora 16/17 this issue was present and Fedora 18/19 not. Similar thing for Ubuntu releases.
