[Bug 50676] Unicode characters do not display in Dialog boxes

I found that running with LANG=ja_JP.utf8 made everything display correctly.

I'm not sure why this is necessary though, there should be no difference in
text encoding between any two *.utf8 locales, right?

Does Wine only ever use CJK fonts if a CJK locale is used?
I would greatly appreciate some insight.
