I didn't notice the problem until I was in the Arcadia level(lots of fog/waterfalls), of course it wasn't consistently corrupted either. [I have the full DVD version]
I've been through the Arcadia level now and have yet to see the bug. I can still reproduce it easily by using an older Wine version, so I think it's fixed in 1.3.36.
