I am new on xubuntu, and using this program wine. I haave the same error, when I install th Ivona voices, later when i open text aloud, ivona said that the period of trial is expired, I am new, please help me with this problem!!!

Ubuntu ships 1.6.2: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=wine which would explain why you're seeing this, as it was fixed in 1.7.51 (bug 38927, which you also commented on with the same text..). Given that you're listing your hardware as ppc32 (which wouldn't run this program with wine) and didn't provide output, I suspect you're actually on 1.6.2, in which case you should upgrade to 1.8.x or 1.9.x to solve your problem.
