Hi,
I had same problem with Wine 6.5, but it is fixed with Wine 6.6 for me.

I run app in FireJail and start it like this:
firejail --private="$JAIL" --noprofile wine start /d "$WDIR" /unix
"$WDIR"/vietcong.exe
